MOST OUTSTANDING PROJECT

The construction of Puan Milah Hashim's new home to replace her dilapidated hut. Materials for this project were raised from the public by the Lions Club of Sungai Petani and construction was done the gotong-royong way.

May 1983 Master Tan Teik Team was sent to Taipei for cardiac surgery with help from Taipei Lions Club and MAS airline	July 1983 20 concrete benches were presented to Taman Jubli Perak, Sungai Petani
